Program objective
The Nursing Assistant is designated to provide the students with the knowledge and practical skills used in entry level Nursing Assistant settings. Students receive classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory training and supervised clinical experience in areas related to patient and resident care.
The program also provides preparation for the applicable Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) competency examination at the institute's in-facility testing site.
