Program objective
Graduate a well-rounded Medical Assistant able to run both the clinical and administrative sides of a medical office, and sit for national certification.
The Medical Assistant program trains you in every relevant aspect of a modern medical office — reception, scheduling, records and insurance on the administrative side, and preparing patients, phlebotomy, EKG, limited X-ray, pharmacology and specialized tests on the clinical side. Graduates are prepared to work in physician offices, clinics and specialty practices, and to sit for national certification.
